304 has high temperature resistance of 800ºC, good toughness, processability and solderability. It is widely used in food and medical industry. It is suitable for equipment and parts that require good comprehensive performance, corrosion resistance and formability.
304L has low carbon content, excellent resistance to grain boundary corrosion after welding or stress relief. Even without heat treatment, it retains good corrosion resistance.
