There is a difference between the heat resistance and corrosion resistance of 310S and 316. The high temperature resistance of 310S is better than that of 316. 310S can work continuously in an environment of 1200ºC, especially suitable for high temperature environments. And because 316 contains Mo element, it has better corrosion resistance.
