Expanded nickel mesh is produced by symmetrically slitting and stretching the nickel sheet or coil. Unlike the square mesh of woven nickel mesh, the expanded mesh features diamond shapes openings. It's easy to bend, cut, and can be processed into any shape. Similar to woven nickel meshes, the expanded mesh is corrosion-resistant to alkaline and neutral solution media.A nickel sheet or coil is the material of expanded mesh. They are usually divided into types of N2, N4, N6, and N8 according to the purity of nickel contained inside. N4 with a nickel content of over 99.9% and N6 over 99.6% are the most commonly used nickel mesh materials among the 4 mentioned above.
